The British Amateur Radio Lighthouse Society
(BARLS) was founded in 2002 by G0SGB Steve G Bryan.

BARLS is a society for amateur radio and lighthouse
enthusiasts and as the name of the society suggests,
it is dedicated to all lighthouses.

The Society caters for the British lighthouse enthusiast
however, any Amateur or SWL is most welcome to join.

Now in it's 7th year, the Society has over 500 members
and continues to grow.

It's popularity and success is due largely to the fact that
the society is non commercial - it is strictly non profit
making and is Free to join.
